Here’s how it works now: Spend $1, earn 1 point. Redeem 100 points for $1 off any purchase of $5 or more.

All you have to do is enter your phone number in our our point of sale system during checkout and we’ll do the rest.

It’s a free members rewards program we’re offering our customers. As a member, you will earn points on every purchase to unlock future discounts and member-exclusive offers.

With our new platform, we’ll be able to offer future offers including other redemption options, and more point earning opportunities.

Points are your standard 1 point for every $1 spent accrual method. These are collected on every purchase.

Currently you can redeem 100 points to get $1.00 off any purchase of $5 or more.

We will offer other promotional opportunities later.

Just enter your phone number in our point of sale pad at anytime during checkout, before you pay of course. The register will automatically tally points.

Since the program is spending-based, you can expect to receive them based on conditions like how large your purchases are, how frequently you shop, and whether you take advantage of future point-multiplier promotions. Which is all to say, it will vary customer to customer.

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’re already enrolled. If not, just enter a phone number you can receive text messages on into our point of sale interface. Ask a cashier if you need assistance locating the relevant fields. Once you’re enrolled, just enter your number the same way every time you shop.

Anyone with a number that can receive text messages, and that can display QR codes at the register. Here’s a good time to remind you that standard data and message rates apply.

We may send you text-based offers and store communications and that’s it. We won’t share or sell with anyone else. It’s only for use for the East Bay Natural Grocers businesses; Alameda Natural Grocery and Castro Valley Natural Grocery, to track purchases.

Absolutely. You can sign up, collect points, and redeem rewards at either of our two locations. Except, on the occasion we do a store-specific promotion. In that situation, you’ll have to go to that store to redeem.

Glad you asked, we’re thinking about setting up some ways of earning points for doing Good Things and/or other analog efforts out in the greater world. Stay tuned, we’ll make a big deal about it if we do.

That’s really cool you thought of that. We believe you can. If not, we’ll get our software provider to make it happen.

All of your points have been retained and transferred over, ready for you to use. Continue to use your number as before to continue collecting points. You can check your balance on the receipt.

If you text STOP, that will opt you out of the program and you’ll stop receiving all messages from us. If you text anything else it will go somewhere where we cannot guarantee we will see it or respond. But if we do, we can chat.

Fair enough. We totally understand. If you’re already enrolled, just text STOP to the last message you got from us. You can also contact us with your phone number and we’ll opt you out ASAP. However, it’s best to reply STOP as that’s automatic and error-free.

If you are not yet enrolled, don’t enter your phone number in our checkout system. It’s totally voluntary and has no effect on anything else.
